Notes 2019 - Published!

I often carry a notebook with me everywhere I go, and I take notes on all sorts of things I find, whether it be from YouTube videos, events I attend, or something else. Since I find them useful, I thought others might too. For that reason, I began publishing notes under my account on Wattpad. Updates are made throughout the year, with each book in the series opening in January and closing in December.

NOV 2018 - Publishing: College 101: What I Wish I'd Been Told

I wrote a book back in 2017 called "College 101" that took about a year to write out and work up the courage to publish. The book is a collection of advice, tips, and explanations on getting through your undergraduate degree.

The target audience I had in mind while writing the book were high school students and first-year college students looking to get a great start to their academic life post-high school.

Wattpad, a free to publish website I have been using to produce stories on for several years, has become the home of this publication (at least for now). The subtitle of the work, "What I Wish I'd Been Told," was an ode to how I felt when I arrived at school and learned things about the college experience that no one had told me. No recommended book or advice I had received seem to discuss things like calculating your credits or explain how copying your written work could be considered plagiarism. And books that did have some of the information on the subjects I was writing about, like buying certain supplies or building a resume, didn't seem clear in the first read-through.

So I wrote a short book--more like a long pamphlet maybe--of around 50 pages for easy consumption of those preparing or already in college.

You have chosen your school--or maybe not, but at the very least you are considering college/university as an option, which is why you're looking at this book...
